Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to start rolling out for Sony Xperia Z3, Z4 Tablet and Z3+ from March 7

While a large number of Android devices were updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the users of many Sony devices are still waiting in the line for any good news. And the good news is finally out, at least for some of the users of Sony’s Z series tablets including the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+ who are set to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update from March 7.

Though the updates are not yet going public for all users, but with the limited availability expectations are high for others to have the Marshmallow experience on their devices very soon.

The fresh hints about the Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates are out by Sony representative in the UK in a recent post on twitter. The tweet suggests something good but such info from the twitter handles are mostly off the mark which we can’t take in the place of official statements. However, still taking the hints seriously we can expect the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+ by March 7.

Responding to a user the twitter Sony twitter handle for the UK promises to confirm the update when it is ready which means things are yet to get ready. Though the hinted date is about just a couple of weeks ahead, the updates seem not ready and therefore may take a little longer than the given date.

There is a little hope following the tweet by Sony GB official which is quite expected following Android Marshmallow updates going to other devices on fast track. Any such hint at this point can be taken positively but the Sony GB tweet comes to arouse expectations which may end up in a delay or the cancellation of updates.

Also the Sony GB account is meant to speak about the UK users. The tweet doesn’t specify it, therefore the users in the US and other markets will have to wait for either any official announcement or as such a hint about Android Marshmallow update.
