BlackBerry Vienna: Another Android phone surfaces with slider design

Mixed flavor of BlackBerry and Android is what smartphone market is waiting for, these days. The BlackBerry Priv will be the first Android OS running BlackBerry phone. BlackBerry seems to be optimistic enough with Android OS to add up another device. Thus days after we got Blackberry Priv official here comes another devices code named BlackBerry Vienna with Android OS.

The device was showed off in a leaked image which is pointed out to be the upcoming BlackBerry Vienna. The source with images claims the device with code name Vienna and some common but modified features on Priv. The images show the new device to carry blackberry’s old Physical keyboard as well. Thus we expect a mix of conventional blackberry and new trends with Android devices.

Yet we have no confirmed info about the code named Android device but BlackBerry’s last week’s release pointed out well towards such a device. According to BlackBerry there are a number of devices in pipeline that will follow the Priv. Thus we expect the Vienna being among these devices. However we have to wait for any confirmed report as BlackBerry tends to make things official without delay, if they are true.


Hereby without confirmation about launch dates, specs and price tag we still have some hints to analyze. As showed in the renders the devices carry a non-sliding physical keyboard as compared with the Priv. The device may arrive is colorful looks including black, dark gray, navy blue, red and silver colors variants.

On its back we can locate the camera with rear flash while for selfies front camera in visible too. The conventional BlackBerry navigation button is also visible.
