Finally, Apple has started sending out the invites for its upcoming event on March 21 2016 with the slogan “Let us loop you in.”
There were a lot of speculations and rumors about the exact date of the Apple event in March. Earlier it was expected to be held on March 14th, but later it was delayed for a week to March 21st. Apple holds its annual event in March to announce its next products and updates usually.
This time, according to the rumors and inside sources, Apple is expected to launch a new and small screen size iPhone the iPhone SE or iPhone 6c along with a smaller iPad Pro, some more bands for Apple Watch and different OS updates like iOS 9.3 update for iPhone and iPad, WatchOS update for the Apple Watch and tvOS for Apple TV.
What to Expect at Apple Event on March 21
According to the details, leaks, and rumors, the next iPhone will be of the same size as of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5 and most probably of the same design but it will be more powerful in terms of processing and will be equipped with the same processor as the iPhone 6S has. Likewise, the camera on iPhone SE will be of improved quality as well with 8MP camera on the back along with Touch ID.
The upcoming iPhone SE will be good news for small screen iPhone lovers who were ignored by Apple for last two years after introducing the bigger iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and later iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
iPad Air or Smaller iPad Pro
The second thing to expect is iPad; Apple did not introduce iPad Air last time instead it introduced the iPad Pro with the 12-inch display and Apple Pencil. Many speculations tell us that the next iPad will be either an upgrade to the iPad Air or it will be smaller iPad Pro with the same processing power of the original 12 inch iPad Pro. The new iPad Air or iPad Pro is expected to support the Apple Pencil and other accessories like Keyboard as well.
Updates for the Apple Watch
In the end, as discussed above, we can expect some new Apple Watch bands, iOS 9.3 official release and updates for Apple Watch OS and tVOS at the upcoming March 21st event.
Apple is also in News for its fight over encryption issues, and it is expected that Tim Cook will also talk about the hot issue at the keynote speech. Should we expect something about the Apple Car and Virtual Reality? I think it will be too much to expect from Apple for now ;)
