iPad Mini 3
Apple on its today’s event announced its new iPad mini 3, the third generation of its 7.9-inch tablet. It also confirmed that the new iPad mini 3 will be available on pre-order from October 17, with the starting price at $399.
The next generation Mini 3 comes with 16 GB storage capacities on both WiFi-only and Cellular options. It will be available in attractive looks including a space gray, silver, and a gold look which was used first time for it.
Aside from its Touch ID and the gold model, the iPad mini 3 does contain a price change for the higher storage capacities. The new prices are $100 less than the previous iPad with the same storage capacity. It will be available now with 64GB at the starting prices being $499 while the 128GB iPad mini 3 will start at $599.
iPad Air 2
On its mega event it also officially unveiled its new second generation iPad Air. It has confirmed on the event that the device will start shipment next week at the starting price of $499. Its pre-Order also starts on October 17 along the iPad mini 3.
Its older generation iPad Air is still working as it announced to continue selling the previous generation iPad at lower price while its new generation iPad Air 2 is also retaining the price tag of the older one.
Apples next generation iPad Air is a super slim model featuring an 18% slimmer design with Touch ID fingerprint sensor and a luxurious gold color option along with many other internal improvements.
It will be available at the starting price of $499 for its 16GB, Wi-Fi only model, which are the same prices as the previous generation iPad Air. The company is also offering the 32GB model at the price $599, 64GB at $699 and 128GB at the starting price $799. Its cellular model starts at the same price of earlier model being at $629 for the 16GB.
