Asus Memo Pad 7 ME176C Specifications

Asus has been among the emerging Asian smartphone manufacturers which have the most diverse array of devices to satisfy different segments of the market. It has also shown this diversity in transforming the tablet market where there are a number of tablet by Asus each with different features. In this regard, the MeMo Pad family of the company is no exception. Here we have the Asus MeMo Pad 7 ME 176C with boosted features. It comes with the same screen of its predecessor but loads more powerful Intel’s Atom Z3745 chip in place of Mediatek which gives it a considerable performance boost.

This updated tablet of Asus comes in 7-inch screen which is an 800x1280p IPS LCD. Its screen makes it an average in size. However the resolution and pixels density which stands at 216ppi are not too high but they display good results on its 7-inch screen. It comes in a plastic built rather steel which makes it lighter in weight and also reduces a portion of its price. It also loads the Android 4.4.2 Operating System with customized User Interface of Asus.

The boosted processing power gives the MeMo Pad 7 an edge over its predecessors. It loads a Quad-core 1.86GHz processor with Intel Atom Z3745 chipset. This processing power is coupled with 1GB of RAM and Intel HD GPU based on Ivy Bridge. As mentioned the Intel Atom upgrade to its specs is the key features of it which makes it a standing tablet in its range. Regarding its internal storage you have both 8GB and 16GB option which you can chose according to your storage needs and purchasing range. However, this storage can be expended with external storage as it supports up to 64GB through a microSD card.

The camera on this tablet is made average with 5MP on its rear and 2MP on front. Its cameras are just made for usual use without putting much consideration. Apart from these you will have a bit powerful battery on it which is 3,910mAh.

Considering its most of the specs it just seems to be an average tablet with nothing worth mentioning. But one thing which makes it special is its boost in processing power. Apart from its Intel Atom Z3745 processor its other features have to struggle in the market.
