Asus Memo Pad 8 ME181C Specifications

Asus brings this time the MeMO Pad 8 ME181C which is the most favorable among its newly released Intel-powered Android tablets. It comes with the 8-inch screen without making any compromise in its features to get a position. Unlike the MeMO Pad 7 and the Transformer Pad TF103C which went without offering anything new in their categories the new MeMo Pad 8 makes its way in the competition. It is available in the affordable price which stands at $199 for 16GB. This price along with its Intel processer and 8-inch display brings at on a strong position against many of the tablets of its range. However, on its display and some other specs it is limited to its range. Here we discuss some of its highlights.

On Asus MeMo Pad 8 ME181C you will find the same size of the competitive Galaxy Tab 4.8.0 that is 8.3×4.9 inches. It’s equally thin and light in weight with only 11.2 ounces. On its back the cover is textured with rubber feel which provides it a little extra grip. Its design still continued the awkward arrangement of volume and power buttons which are situated on the back. Apart from these you can find the normal arrangement of the micro USB port and headphone Jack site on its top while the microSD card slot being on the left.

Its screen is 8-inch in size which is also 1,280x800pixel IPS LCD. Considering its display you will find an average tablet although it is still god in its maximum range of brightness. It is however beaten by the competing Galaxy Tab S which got the 8.4-inch display with amazing 2,560×1,600 pixel AMOLED display.

Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the MeMo Pad 8 ME181C comes with the processing power of Intel Atom Z3745 Quad-core 1.33 GHz. This processer is backed by 1GB of RAM which sounds to be average considering its other features. With these its internal storage is kept 16 GB which can be expended up to 64GB using a microSD card.

The field of camera is also left average on this Asus Pad. It comes with a 5MP camera on its rare which is a 2592x1944p autofocus sensor with geo-tagging feature. On its front there is a 2MP camera which can capture normal selfies. You can also record 1080p video on its main camera.

The battery specs are kept average rather outstanding. It loads a 3,950mAh battery which can last more than 9 hours with multimedia usage.
