Asus Zenfone 5 Specifications

The Taiwanese manufacturer Asus brings the Zenfone trio with varying specs and appealing features. The Zenfone 5 set to be the second and middle smartphone of its lineup. As its name suggests it is upgraded from the 4-inch screen size of Zenfone 4 to the larger 5-inch screen. Along the display size it has also some increments in its other display features and internal specs. Here listed some fields where it has scored the same advantages over the other smartphones of its lineup.

As mentioned, firs of all it has upgraded the screen size to 5-inch. This larger screen holds an LED-backlit IPS display with 720p resolution. These specs give it an impressive display with 295ppi pixel density. On its brighter and larger display you will find an upgraded sense or your Asus smartphone.

Similar to the Zenfone 4, the operating System it runs is set to be the older Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Like all other Asus smartphones it is also equipped with the customizations of Asus Zen UI. The OS of Zenfone 5 can be easily upgraded to the up-to-date Android 4.4 KitKat.

Considering the design of Zenfone 5 you will find the similar look of the smaller Zenfone 4. However, the upgrades are there in its larger screen which makes it a wider size smartphone and its rear which is covered with ceramic coating. Unlike the plastic build of the earlier Zenfone 4, the ceramic coating makes it quite pleasant to touch and also slightly thinner in size. In measurements you can find the 148.2 x 72.8 x 10.3mm dimension and 140g weight.

On Zenfone 5 you will find the fastest available Intel chipset. It is an Intel Atom Z2580 which offers a dual-core 2.0GHz Atom processor. It makes it truly fast and also give it a clear edge over its sister smartphones. This processing power is well companied by 1GB of RAM and PowerVR SGX 544MP2 graphics.

Along with all these, what else you can find on Zenfone 5 includes the dual-SIM, 4 to 16 GB expandable storage and Sony BSI camera. The Sony BSI camera on its rear is 8MP with a LED flash while on the front there is a usual 2MP front snapper. And finally all these specs are backed by 2,050mAh of non-removable Li-Po battery.
