Buggy Android Lollipop update locking down Nexus phones

Android Lollipop craze is not over yet and due to several OEMs, a lot of us are waiting for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update on our phones yet. Sony announced to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Xperia Z3 and other devices from today which will continue for at least weeks. Every one of us thinks Nexus users are really lucky in this regards that they get the Android update as soon as it is announced by the Google. But hold on, this is not true. The Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 users who updated their phones to Android 5.0 Lollipop are facing different issues like their devices are locked down or bricked.

There are no exact figures yet revealed which can tell us about the number of handsets which are dead now (most probably temporarily). But several complaints have been logged into Google Product Forums and same is trending on twitter as ‘#nexus7bricked’ since the update was rolled out for the two devices just recently.
