Like many things on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow you will love the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Stock wallpapers. They are made beautifully with a degree of creativity to look great on any screen you put them on. The selection of aerial and landscape shots and paper patterns in bright colors make it a complete package. For those still wondering about the creativity behind, Google team has revealed the story. Let’s find out how they did it.
As we get through the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow there are nine stock wallpapers. These include three out of Google Earth with aerial view, three eye catching landscapes, and 3 light colored patterns. The paper like shots catches the attention well with the creativity speaking for itself. As we have seen in the Android Lollipop there are the matching abstract wallpapers.
Here is the account in this regard from Carl Kleiner who has been behind the abstract wallpapers first in the Lollipop and now in the Marshmallow. And it is quite noticing that these abstracts are not digitally made instead, papers are photographed with artistic lightning.
Google says that Kleiner’s art work came out of creative use of colors, lighting and layering that have been developing since the initial days of its current Material design. The process has emerged with shots that emphasize natural shadows with three-dimensional looks. However, as Google mentioned it, the Marshmallow wallpapers are not just a shift in colors but also in tone and texture from those used in Lollipop.
Kleiner also mentions the use of artistic techniques to create the amazing textures. Though, Google has limited the colors choice to the core Google brand but Kleiner has maintained the precision with Lollipop paperscapes. This according to Kleiner not only changed the looks but also made the geometry more complex than Lollipop. Thus after all these, what we get out of the new Android Marshmallow is outstanding.
