First iPhone 7 Case Leaks: No Headphone Jack And iPhone 6S-like Appearance

iPhone 7 Is months and months of wait away. Still, the restless souls everywhere are always ready to leak something new. And the leaks and rumors game for the anticipated iPhone has already begun. The very first images of the alleged iPhone 7 case have surfaced around the web today.

If these iPhone 7 case images are not fake, then the new iPhone 7 will be much similar to the previous iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 in design. The curved edges and a perfectly flat back retain their positions. The case discovered does not contain a hole for a 3.5 mm headphone jack which has been a highlight for the rumors. The hole not making an appearance testifies the previous speculations that Apple will ditch the headphone jack for better Bluetooth and Lightning headphones.

Coming towards the bottom part of the case, it seems that the alleged device will only have a Lightning port surrounded by two equal-width speaker grilles. The presence of the grilles most certainly means that the device will come with some stereo sound output. The leaks and the surfaced images are not far away from our imaginations or our thinking related to the iPhones. The headphone port is the only thing missing, else, the device is much similar in appearance to the previous versions.

It was expected that the iPhone 7 will come with a more modern design and unusual changes. However, this cover doesn’t paint a much different picture than the headphone jack-less iPhone 6S. As for the lines, we cannot be sure about it until we have dimensions on paper.

Lately, the iPhone 7 rumors have also hinted that the design of the phone will be same but slightly slimmer, so no new shocks here. The horizontal antenna that lined on the back of the phone has been reportedly removed for iPhone 7. Again, you cannot believe such reliable information from only a rumor. The hole in the case for the rear camera isn’t enlarged enough to conclude that we will be getting a dual camera setup on the iPhone 7.  Additionally, many rumors have already hinted that the dual-camera feature would be exclusive to the 5.5 inch ‘iPhone 7 Pro’ model only.

As for the iPhone 7, it has been suggested the time and again that the rear camera of the device will be flush with the body, not protruding like current iPhones. Lastly, the leak revealed today is important in many aspects but we cannot rely on it as far as the authenticity is concerned. Let’s take all the rumors and speculations with a pinch of salt and wait until the next purported case arrive or new leaks flow our way.
