Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition release date out

One of the most enduring PC games, the Flight Simulator is back on the screen with its Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. Expected to be released around December 18th this year, will bring one of the toughest simulators on the PC, back in the work. It will include the Flight Simulator X: Deluxe Edition and the Acceleration Expansion Pack. The Dovetail Games confirms the title to go for sale for an introductory price.

The arrival of Microsoft Flight Simulator X follows this year’s global licensing deal between Dovetail Games and the software giant Microsoft. Dovetail Games is also the developer of the popular Train Simulator series. Along with the distribution of Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition, the Dovetail is also carrying forward its own original titles that are based on the flight technology of Microsoft. It is also set to release some new add-on packs for the Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition.

The Steam Edition which is made for Windows 8.1 is now ready to delivers an amazing experience to the gamers with accurate aerial experience. This is expected to be a surprise for the simulation enthusiasts. The Steam Edition included over 20 aircraft, 80 missions and 24,000 airports. With these now the Pilots can climb into the variety of aircraft that ranges from fighter jets to single-engine planes and helicopters. It is also equipped with an improved multi-player mode. Along with this, more than 80 missions are there to test players in a variety of ways. It includes the search and rescue challenges, various test pilot scenarios, amazing races and much more.

The deal between Microsoft and the Dovetail Games with its first outcome can bring the glorious time of flight simulators back in to action. It can recall the time when the gaming industry was crowded with flight simulators including the popular Jane’s USAF, Jane’s IAF and Lock On: Modern Air Combat along with the titles from Novalogic. However, the resurrection of this genre is yet to come in the gaming industry which might prove to be a boost.
