Adding up an impressive piece into the Android Wear shelves the Fossil recently announced its first samrtwatch the Fossil Q Founder. The round face Android Wear watch was put on display for $295 with Intel Atom processor running inside. After a short span into backburner the watch now made its way to Google Play Store. Though it is not available on Google Play Store for sale right now but it gives us a bit closers view into it, let’s explore a little deeper.
A couple of week ago when the Fossil Q Founder watch was made public we got some of key details including its availability in two different options. The watch itself comes in a light stainless steel case with differences on the band. The options include the watch with steel band or with leather band which are the two key categories shaping the watch demand.
You may like either of the band options as both match best with the stainless steel case but there is a little price difference. The stainless steel case watch with steel band comes for $295 and if you like leather band than there is a little relaxation as you have pay $275. You can order you watch right now from the Fossil. And those looking for it on the Play store may find ‘coming soon’ for now.
Looking into the details of the Fossil watch we find it with 1.5inch circular display of OLED type with 360x326pixel resolution and 240ppi density. The Atom processor inside is joined by 1GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 4GB.
The battery found on the Fossil Q Founder watch is 440mAh which the Fossil claims powerful enough to keep the watch running for more than 24 hours of active use. It comes with IP67 water resistance certification that makes it good for adventurous users. Joining up its various features and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity we can place it among key Android Wear watches.
