After the success of Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge in the markets Samsung came again with latest versions. Following the market trends both Note 4 and S6 edge were backed up with larger Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Both device were released earlier this month and the market statistics show both getting more attention than the predecessors.
Both the Note 5 and S6 Edge+ are made to succeed the Note 4 and S6 edge but the devices came with their own flavor. The key feature that is promoted well is the larger size as both devices were ranged into phablets. But still you can find many points that distinguish the devices. As the S6 edge+ misses the S pen but instead it came with the curved display over the large display.
Fresh details reported in the Korean media that show a remarkable sale by both newly arrived devices that have left behind the predecessors. The Korean publication has compared the launching performance of current devices with the last year’s launches. According to the details the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ sold up to 75000 units in three days of their arrival. This was quite unexpected and remarkable for Samsung that was facing a downward progress in the market.
Comparing to the remarkable 75000 units of both new phablet the Note 4 and S6 Edge could only make up to 10000 units per day. This is quite a big difference in the market and show a good sign for Samsung. But still, these details are from home market where Samsung account for 70% of market.
The performance in other markets may make up the final position but the initial performance is appreciating anyway. Yet we have to wait for any report from the US & European markets which is much important to decide the overall impact of the sale once the device is launched there.
