Since the mid of May Sony Xperia was started updating to the Google’s latest Android version 5.0 or the Android Lollipop. If you are among the T-Mobile customers you may have missed the updates while many of your fellows have been enjoying it. But the long wait ended as T-Mobile finally got everything cleared for Sony Xperia to update to the Lollipop version.
Though the T-Mobile has been testing the updated Android Lollipop on its Xperia Z3 devices but no update option was given to its customers. Now the carrier made it clear that it is ready to go for mass availability of the updates. T-Mobile customers of Xperia Z3 were deprived of the Lollipop while many other carriers have released the updates in some markets in March.
T-mobile has announced to produce the OTA update first which will sooner follow the complete update for your Xperia Z3. You can check the updates availability on your device by following the settings. Just go to system settings on your Xperia Z3 and on about phone option you will find the option for System update. After checking for updates you will hopefully find the Android Lollipop available for you.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is the updated version of Android OS with many new features which T-Mobile enhances with its own additions. For instance, Android Lollipop comes with multitasking, improved runtime and lockscreen. Apart from the Lollipops features, the T-mobile provide bitter LTE connectivity with the LTE Band 13. With this addition the T-Mobile customers will get bitter coverage than the other carriers.
Sony Xperia Z3 was away from the US market for some time as T-Mobile being its only carrier stopped its sale. However, the halt was for a short time as the carrier brought the Xperai Z3 back with a reduced price. T-Mobile now comes with software update to offer its customers all the goodies of the Lollipop.
