Google Chromecast app is famous and of great use. Google has been working on the improvement of this platform, since the day it was established. In order to improve and to signify the expansion changes of the streaming platform, Google is renaming “Google Chromecast” to “Google Cast” app.
Google is also introducing some new changes like Google Cast-enabled speakers and TVs from Vizio. Google announced the Google Cast previous year. The platform was built to allow different videos and audios to not only stream for the Android device but also to the third-party devices supporting Chromecast hardware. This is the reason the Chromecast app is converting into the Google Cast app.
This is appreciable that the Cast also allows the inclusion of the devices other than the Google’s own Chromecast lineup. Moreover, the giant is also introducing new products for the enhanced system like Vizio’s new SmartCast P-Series TVs and speaker systems.
The P-series now comes with Google Cast built in, which means you can use your smartphone or tablet as your remote to cast your favorite entertainment directly to the big screen. Simply tap the Cast button from apps like Netflix to watch Daredevil, YouTube to stream daredevil stunts, or Google Play Music to get pumped for your own stunts. You can also mirror any website from the Chrome browser on your laptop.
Google has also stated that the P-series TVs Support Google Casting in Ultra HD up to 4K resolution. Meanwhile, all of the TVs are also allowed the inclusion of a 6 inch Android tablet remote. It must be noted that these remotes do not run on Android TV.
The Google Cast app will be coming on Google Play and the concerned App Stores for both Android and iOS devices. The inclusion will affect from this week.
