LG has named the official case as Quick Cover which is flip cover for LG G5 that fits firmly to the phone to protect it from scratches. The flip-wallet like flap attached to the Quick Cover protects the LG G5 display. The flap carries a rectangular window on front which is made of thin plastic film from where you can view a small portion of LG G5 display.

The cover is made as per the dedicated feature on the LG G5, the Always On Screen. The feature enables LG G5 to display time and notifications while screen is turned off. And with Quick cover you can view the notifications in a glance without opening it up. With matching looks of the G5 body you will get the official feel on the Quick Cover.

Next to the LG’s official G5 Quick Cover, the Lifeproof case is more focused on protection of your device. Therefore, for an unbreakable protection the Lifeproof case puts a bit of bulk to the devices. It is made with hard plastic and rubber with an additional build in display protector made of transparent plastic. It also takes care of fingerprint sensor, camera and ports making the LG G5 shook proof. Once closed, the Lifeproof case stays firm which you will need a coin to open it again.
