HTC‘s latest flagship, the HTC 10 is highly anticipated by many. Recently, the GFX Bench and Geekbench databases, both featured the upcoming smartphone. The HTC 10 specifications were also leaked in the benchmarks.
The HTC 10, originally named HTC One M10 will be power by Snapdragon 820 processor. Qualcomm has been bragging about the chip set’s performance on Twitter lately. The Snapdragon 820 also powers the United States version of the Galaxy S7, as well as the LG G5. So, we can be sure that the device will not lack in the power department. The processor is Qualcomm’s fastest silicon at the moment.
Same as its competitors; the Galaxy S7 and LG G5, the HTC 10 will include a whopping 4GB of RAM. The device will include 32GB of internal storage as well. The smartphone will include 5.1-inch Quad HD resolution display. It will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow pre-installed. Most of this specifications are same as the ones initially speculated. The most intriguing specification reveal was in the camera department. The weakest feature so far of the HTC One series has been its camera. We are hoping that with the HTC 10 this will change. Previously, rumors and speculations had determined that the smartphone will feature a 12 MP camera, with a large sensor,and wider aperture.
The leaked specifications table confirms this rumor. The camera is listed as 11 MP because it is set in a 4:3 format. The front camera will be 4.8 MP. Earlier, HTC claimed that the HTC 10, will come with “World’s First, World Class” camera.
The HTC 10 is nearing its launch date. It is expected to be unveiled at the HTC event on 12 April. The smartphone will be available in multiple colours. There is no news yet on when exactly the HTC 10 will be available in the market. Renders and other images of the HTC 10 on the social media resemble the HTC One A9 & One M9. Although the device’s design is shrouded in mystery for now, but fortunately, we will have to wait only a few days for the reveal.
