While everyone is expecting the HTC One M10 to join the competition, HTC has surprisingly announced the Desire 530 and Desire 630 handsets, keeping One M10 aside. This was a really surprising move by HTC as last year HTC announced the One M9 on the same day when Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were announced. But this year HTC only announced the Desire 530 and Desire 630 along with Desire 825 having same design but different specifications.
All the devices will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be available in number of different colors. The two mid-range phones are much similar in design. Desire 530 will have a 5 inch 720p display along with quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. With 16GB internal storage, it will support the external memory and will have 1.5GB RAM to run the phone smoothly.
We get an 8MP camera with f/2.4 aperture on back there is a 5 MP selfie shooter with f/2.8 aperture. There is a 2200 mAh battery which is more than enough along with Extreme Power Saving mode in the Desire 530. As discussed above, it will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The second phone announced is Desire 630 which is more powerful as compared to Desire 530. It has same design and display of 5 inches with 720p resolution. But We have a more powerful processor in the Desire 640 i.e. quad-core Snapdragon 400 with 1.6GHz processing speed. With 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory it also supports the external memory and microSD card.
The camera of Desire 630 is also more powerful. We get a13MP camera on back with f/2.4 aperture supported by a 5 MP camera on front. Again the battery power is same 2200 mAh for Desire 630.
The last phone to discuss here is Desire 825. The HTC Desire 825 is more powerful than Desire 530 and Desire 630 and is much bigger than the duo. With 5.5 inch 720p display it is also powered by Snapdragon 400 processor along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory supporting the microSD card as well. We get the same 13MP camera on Desire 825 with 1080p video resolution along with a 5MP front camera. It has more powerful battery of 2700 mAh and it also has Android 6.0 Marshmallow installed and running.
With these announcements, HTC has not yet cleared the details like the prices of devices and the release dates of the phones, which looks a little strange.
