HTC One X9 is official with 5.5-inch display, Helio X10 SoC, 13MP camera

HTC proved the speculation wrong by displaying the HTC One X9 on the offical website. The device was earlier speculated to show off this Christmas, suggesting a delay in the launch of HTC One X9. The device is live now on the HTC China website with its impressive features listed for public.

The HTC One X9 has been discussed in many rumors, teasers and leaks which emerged over the past few weeks. Also with the complete list of its rumored specs the One X9 made an appearance at the Chinese authority TENAA. If you have been following the updates over the time you will probably find many of the key areas of the HTC One X9 familiar.

The HTC One X9 has borrowed much of its design concept from the older HTC One A9. But there are enough differences to give you a fresh feel on the new HTC One X9. Back in the time of HTC One A9, HTC was criticized for copying the Apple iPhone design. Now with HTC One X9, while keeping the design language same much of the looks are changed to give it a distinct feel.

The device still features the same aluminum body which makes it looking impressive with the large display and 71.38 percent screen-to-body ratio. Its display is IPS type in 5.5-inches size which gives you quality display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.

Unlike the older HTC devices which come with on-screen navigation buttons the HTC One X9 carries three capacitive buttons beneath the panel for navigation. But the use of capacitive buttons seems a good decision considering their popularity in the Asian market which seems HTC’s primary target for the HTC One X9. Another interesting tweak you can notice on is on its speakers which are curved in upper and lower bezels. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Read about our Affiliates Disclosure Policy here.
