Huawei Honor series to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update early next year?

Huawei brings its devices branded ‘Honor’ to compete in the affordable section of market with some heavy specs. Prices are first thing to mention which place the Huawei Honor devices among the key affordable packages in the market. Now Huawei announces to bring the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates to its Honor devices.

According to an announcement made on the official twitter handle of the Huawei Honor the updates will land to a number of Honor device by February next year. While many of key smartphones have already started the updates Honor users unfortunately have to wait for three months. However the arrival of updates in February 2016 seems to be confirmed.

Following the announcement by the Indian sources the updates are right now expected for Huawei Honor 4C, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 7, Honor 6 and the Honor 4X. Though a little late but it will still be a good move by Huawei. The devices with impressive details will get recharged by nice features of Android Marshmallow.

The newly introduced features with a number of upgrades the Marshmallow got an impressive response by Android running smartphone vendors. All key smartphone makers including Samsung, Sony, Motorola, HTC show a good pace upgrading to new version of Android.

There are also a number of smartphone listed by the same vendors that are about to arrive in the market with Android Marshmallow pre-loaded. Coming months we may find some nice smartphone models being announced with Android Marshmallow. Most recently we got reports for the One A9 by HTC that will land with the latest Android version.

As we have seen in Huawei device the native EMUI software had its several customization. With the Honor devices running Android Marshmallow it is also expected that the EMUI software will also get revised. The features on the Marshmallow will simply boost the powers on the new Honor devices.
