Huawei Mate 8 to be announced on Nov. 26

With its recent moves and future plans Huawei is apparently prepared well to improve its market position. After releasing the Nexus device for the first time Huawei is now ready to roll out another flagship in the smartphone market. As we have seen a noticeable improvement in Huawei’s market ratting the new device will probably be a convincing one.

Huawei recently has not only pushed the Xiaomi in the Chinese market but also climbed to the third spot in the shipment of smartphones. According to the reports emerging from the Chinese micro blogging site the Weibo, the company is ready to push further.

The announcement came from the official Weibo handle of Huawei introducing a new addition in the Mate family. The new Huawei Mate 8 will arrive as a follow up device to the Mate 7 which has already been well-discussed and admired among the smartphone lovers. According to the announcement the new device will get unveiled on November 26.

Initially the Mate 8 is being sought as an upgrade to its predecessors with matching but heavier details inside. If this remains to be the case on the announced day it will probably be a high spec phablet with a large display and equally high price tag. Before the listed date we have some reports suggesting similar specification chart for the Mate 8, let’s have a brief review into.

The Mate 8 is expected with a large display which may stand at 6inch size with QHD resolution. Under the hood we may find a Hisilicon Kirin chipset to support octa-core processing unit with up to 4GB RAM. Internal storage options are good at 32GB and 64GB. Yet the camera details are not reported but will hopefully get them sooner. The device is initially expected to come with Android 5.1 pre-loaded instead of Marshmallow. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Read about our Affiliates Disclosure Policy here.
