Huawei is expected to release Huawei P9, P9 Lite, and P9 Max, at the April 6 event in London. Recently, images of P9 Lite have surfaced along with multiple renders, showing off the smartphone’s design.
According to the leaks, the P9 Lite is 7.6mm thin and has a 5.2-inch display. Reportedly, the P9 and the P9 Lite will have a full metal body and a camera similar to that of Nexus 6P. Moreover, the device will have micro USB instead of USB Type-C along with a rear fingerprint sensor.
Notably, the previous online listing of P9 specifications said that it would have a 5-inch display and same camera as the P9.
The Huawei P9 is expected to have a 5.2-inch display, Kirin 950 processor, 32GB of storage, and 3GB of RAM. It is going to be more powerful than the P9 Lite with a large 3,900 mAh battery. The battery will be charged via USB Type-C cable. The P9 also has a 12MP dual rear camera, along with an LED flash and space for sensors. There might even be a laser auto-focusing system present as it is mentioned in some spec leaks. The smartphone will contain a rear fingerprint scanner as well.The device is expected to run Android 6.0.1 with Huawei’s EMUI skin.
The P9 Max will be a phablet with additional RAM and a larger OHD display while the P9 Lite will be lighter, more affordable smartphone with 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 650 processor. The flagship P9’s hardware and the price will be somewhere between these two. The Huawei P9 is set to launch officially on April 6th, 2016.
