If you look on the new leaked images of the alleged Lumia 1330, it is noticeable larger in size as compared to the Lumia 535 and it will be a phablet more than a smartphone. Rumors suggest that new Lumia 1330 will have a 14 MP rear camera as compared to the 5 MP camera of Nokia Lumia 1320, the first Lumia set Nokia ever released. The latest Microsoft Lumia 535 also has 5 MP rear and front camera which makes it perfect for selfie lovers but this time the 14 MP camera in Lumia 1330 will be big move by Microsoft in this regards.

Other details about the specifications suggest that Lumia 1330 will have 5.7 inch display with 720p density and a Snapdragon 400 processor. It will be accompanied with 32 GB storage and 1GB of RAM as well. Further details are yet to unfold like if it will have external SD card slot or not, either it will be a dual sim or single sim etc. But most probably Microsoft will release its first Lumia phablet by the spring of 2015.

Comparing these specifications of Lumia 1330 with the market giants like Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus, the upcoming phablet by Microsoft does not shine in front of these powerhouses and there is no comparison among these phablets from any aspect.

On the other hand, Microsoft strategically launched its first Lumia series set Microsoft Lumia 535 in the emerging markets of Bangladesh and sub-continent initially which suggests Microsoft is not interested in competing with the smartphone giants Apple and Samsung but is focusing on new emerging markets with low cost smartphones and phablets like Lumia 535 and now Lumia 1330. is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Read about our Affiliates Disclosure Policy here.
