iOS 8 set to release at midnight

Apple announced to release its new iOS 8, tonight. With the excitement over the record making iPhone 6 pre-orders, a lot of users are looking forward to downloading the iOS 8 update at midnight.

Apple confirmed release date for September 17th last week, but the specific time was not mention. The release time is 10 AM Pacific 1 PM Eastern. This is the same time Apple released the last several iOS updates and with the potential for server problems and other issues.

Apple includes a ton of exciting new features in its iOS 8 update, like better group messages, the ability to answer a phone call on the iPad, Touch ID support for apps and better sharing in Safari as well as many others. It shows up calls and texts on Mac and iPad and contain feature to quickly reply to notifications without leaving the app they are in. Voice and video messages can also be sent on iOS.

Among the many features of the new iOS is its amazing voice command app ‘Siri’, the new Keyboard Features & Third Party 5Keyboards with predictive text and allows keyboard choices finally. It also has a iCloud Photo Library which give user access to all photos and videos in full resolution from anywhere. Paid storage for 99 cents a month starts at 20GB.

Its family share option enables the user to share apps, movies and more without using the same Apple ID. It also approves In-App Purchases with a notification. More than the stock list of Apps, that Apple picked can now be shared with its smart share.
