LG to launch G3 Stylus this week

The new G3 Styles a 3G-only smartphone by LG with interactive pen for stylus fans will be rolling out globally in this weak.

Brazil will be the first country to host the launch of G3 Styles, followed by smartphone markets in Latin America, Central Asia and the Common wealth of Independent States (CIS).

Unveiled earlier this month at IFA in Berlin, the G3 Stylus is large as LG’s G3 flagship smartphone but not a high-end device. It is specifically being geared toward emerging markets and will carry with it several of the features of the G3 without the premium price. LG had marked the massive display and stylus pen and affordable prices as the competitive points of the new phone.

G3 Stylus comes with a slightly curved back and gradually tapered edges. With its Dual Window feature two apps can be used at the same time and same window. The Smart Keyboard adapts the typing style of user.

The new handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat. Its features include a 5.5-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels and 200 ppi, 13 MP rear camera, quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 3000 mAh battery.

The new pen-enabled device is equipped with a stylus, made of a proprietary Rubberdium material to feel more comfortable in the hand.

It will be available in three color variants black, white and gold, in either dual SIM, or single SIM versions. The prices and other details were said to be revealed when the phone is actually launches in the markets.
