LG is going to launch its latest flagship smartphone LG G4 on 28th April 2015 and to boost its marketing campaign LG has announced to let the customers use the LG G4 as a test drive. The test drive program will begin today in South Korea and then it will be available in 14 countries including United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, China, France, Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, Turkey and Singapore.
The selection criteria will be based on the customer’s behavior on LG social media sites and websites. Although the details are to be revealed yet it will be most probably related to commenting and liking behavior of the LG fans. Every customer who gets the LG G4 to use as a test drive will be able to use it for up to 30 days and LG will give them different assignments, completing them will result in surprise gifts etc. Although the 4000 consumers will have to return the LG G4 at the end of test drive and they cannot keep it with them.
LG G4 Specifications
Although LG has not revealed the specifications of its upcoming phone, but the leaked specifications suggest it will be 5.5 inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. Powered by 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 810 or 808 processor it will have 3 GB of RAM. The back camera of LG G4 will be of 15MP with f/1.8 aperture and the front camera will be of 7MP expectedly.
The new LG G4 will be running on Android Lollipop 5.0 with new LG UX4.0 interface. Unexpected thing will be the leather casing on the back of the LG G4 as suggested by the event invitations sent by the LG.
LG G4 Release date and other details
LG G4 will be launched officially on April 28, 2015 and it will be ‘radically different’ from the rest of phones. Many are expecting it to be the last of the LG G series.
