LG V10, LG G4 and LG G3 among the LG devices getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Android 6.0 Marshmallow was announced last day after a long follow up. Now we have reports about different vendors getting ready for updates. We already have a list related to Motorola devices but it seems restricted to very small number of devices. LG is also, reported with a number of its devices, readying for new updates.

Yet no third party vendor has announced names of devices ready for updates. But still following the developments by various vendors we can judge their preparedness and the expected devices. Here we have some details about some LG phones which are set to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow first.

We have certain data published on a website run by the LG. The website shows devices based on their availability in selected countries. After selecting the country, in our case the US, it opens the page for its devices and their respective Android OS. Though, you will not be able to get to the devices’ least for updates but still there is much info to discuss. For instance, by picking any device you can get details of Android versions available. And we found two models right there for which Android 6.0 is available.

The two devices include LG G3 and LG G4 seems ready for updates. According to the details on the website Android 6.0 Marshmallow is available for both devices. Thus when other devices will start getting the Android Marshmallow they will be updated in coming days very soon. Yet we wait an official announcement by LG in clear words.

There is another model expected in the list is the LG V10. The V10 is yet not grounded but plans say it will arrive with Android 5.1 with upgrade options. Therefore, after getting the device its users will be able to upgrade to the latest version. We expect more devices by LG for updates.
