Microsoft Lumia 650 expected release date is February 2016

Microsoft seems ready to mark this year’s first and may be the only addition in its Lumia lineup. There have been some key devices anticipated from Microsoft this year including the Lumia 650. But fresh report suggests the Lumia 650 would be the only device to expect, ruling out the rest as Microsoft will be focusing on Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 650 running on Windows 10.

According to the fresh reports with 1st February as its launch date the Lumia 650 is the single piece out of Lumia lineup that Microsoft is planning to launch this year. If it stands true, there will be a number of key devices dropped off the list including Microsoft Lumia 750 and the Lumia 850.

However, considering the growing trends in the smartphone market we cannot rule out the expectancy of another Microsoft device sooner or later besides the Lumia 650. As we have seen, the noted manufacturers in the market have more than one devices for the year to cover a larger market.

Besides the Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 there had also been some other devices which were considered among Microsoft’s upcoming devices. Among these included the Microsoft Surface Phone which was expected to launch with Snapdragon 820 chipset. And it was earlier reported for an expected launch next season.

Yet we don’t have price details of the Lumia 650 but it is widely reported to be an affordable business phone. However, the recently received renders show the Lumia 650 with premium looks. Those premium looks noted in the Lumia 650 renders may put some extra prices on the ultimate device.

Besides the premium looks the Lumia 650 is reported with 5inch display panel and 720x1280pixel resolution. Internally it would be powered by Snapdragon 212 chipset, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with external microSD card support. Finally, the Lumia 650 will be the fourth addition in the Windows 10 phone lineup.
