Trade in your Lumia 920, 925 or 1020 for Lumia 950 and get a $150 discount

Microsoft has recently announced a new promotion that allows you to get $150 discount on Lumia 950 and 950 XL. The owners of Nokia Lumia 920, 925 or 1020 can trade in their devices to get a $150 discount on Microsoft’s latest flagship devices, Lumia 950 and 950 XL.

Lumia 950

This is a really  good promotion offer for the owners of Lumia 920, 925, and 1020 that are looking to buy the new Lumia 950. But, there is also one bad news for the owners of these devices. Those who wish to keep using Lumia 920,920 or 1020 will be disappointed to hear that Microsoft has decided to not update the device to Windows 10. This is especially dissatisfying  considering that Microsoft has previously promised to upgrade these devices.

Microsoft has offered another promotion for those who own one of these three devices. If you don’t want to keep your Lumia 920,920 or Lumia 1020 you can trade it in for  $150 Microsoft store credit. To do this you need to go to the  Microsoft’s online web store and click ‘Trade-in online’. You will have to specify which Lumia device you are planning to trade in. After that, you will have to answer if you will also trade in the charger, and then fill in the IMEI number of the device. Note that even if you don’t trade in the charger, you will receive the store $150 credit. Alternatively, you can also visit a physical Microsoft Store and trade in your device there.

One thing to note is that the $150 store credit is only valid for Lumia devices that are in working condition. That means that the device should be able to power on and all buttons should function properly. The physical condition of the phone is also going to be considered. The display screen should not be cracked or broken and there should be no signs of liquid damage on the device.
