By keeping the Lumia 950 XL away from carriers Microsoft might have considered the high prices. Meanwhile with limited availability of the Lumia 950 XL, Microsoft is a little open with Lumia 950. However you can find it only on the shelves at AT&T. Other carriers in the US have to wait a while for the Lumia 950 as well.
The new announcement by Microsoft, placing the Lumia 950 XL for pre-orders mentions November 25 as shipment date. Those users who have placed their pre-orders may start getting the device on the mentioned date. The device is also listed with both black and white options which you can order at $649.
