We have received many reports about the arrival of premium Lumia device by Microsoft but all thru rumors and leaks. But now we are a little confirmed as the company’s Executive Vice President finally opened lips about the plans. Microsoft’s Terry Myerson while talking to media at a conference confirmed that the company is ruling out the premium Lumia devices soon.
Similar hints were also given by Microsoft’s a week earlier while announcing write off for the products of Nokia. Microsoft resolves to focus needs of both the enterprise and the users looking for high specs. It farther announces to bring both the value-priced and high-end devices soon.
The VP also confirmed that Microsoft is looking for Lumia which is specifically designed for Window 10 Mobile to give the users the ultimate experience of company’s new mobile operating system.
The current steps show Microsoft’s resolve to move forward in the busy smartphone market with strong competitors. Initially adopting the Nokia device Microsoft progressed well bringing its device against certain device of Samsung and other key manufacturers. Now it seems to move farther to beat the high ends and high spec devices.
Right now we have two devices by Microsoft in the pipeline which are expected to arrive in coming days. The devices are yet reported to be the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, with slight differences. As reported yesterday, Microsoft has opted for polycarbonate body for its upcoming high ends but with a premium price as the devices are deemed to compete with some premium devices.
According to the spec chart of both upcoming Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL the device will present truly high details. The device will be there in 5.2 and 5.7 inches display options accompanied by with 20 megapixel camera and updated snapdragon chipset. The devices are also reported with 3GB RAM and equally high internal storage.
