Microsoft is rushing its users with many of its productivity apps, aimed to provide an improved cross platform environment. As recent rumors suggested, Microsoft is going to release the OneClip app which is reported as an expected clipboard app. Now the software giant is reportedly preparing for Office Now, another similar productivity app.
The OneClip will provide the Microsoft users a virtual clipboard. It can be used to write notes, contacts, memos and other similar content. While the Office Now is aimed to ease your office tasks and provides you more assistance for managing your daily schedules.
The productivity app can give you executive summaries of all your tasks along with some useful features. For a boss or an office assistant this app shares the burden by providing many useful options. You can list all your meetings on the Office Now and the executive summary will keep reminding you about meetings. It will also provide option to update your schedule and then makes all changes displayed on the executive summery page.
The Office Now also gives you a summary of all your scheduled tasks. Its at-a-glance features bring all your scheduled tasks on your lock screen. You can also set it to show the summery in your notification center.
It keeps the data for your daily commute and update on the traffic conditions to assist you finding an easy way to your targeted location. It’s done via separate card which is assigned for this particular task. There is also a Highlight card which manages the start and end timings of your daily events. With this feature the Office Now will help you managing your time for each event. Another interesting card is about your missed calls. This card not only notifies you about the missed calls but also give you quick options to reply with.
Microsoft is preparing to launch Office Now soon for iOS and Android along with the Windows Phone.
