Moto X 3G & G 3G among the devices to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

As we get dates for Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates for Google’s devices, other manufacturers show movement too. Google Nexus lineup is going to get the new Android OS version by next week. And now we have Motorola getting ready for update. A list published by unofficial sources suggests Marshmallow updates for a number of Motorola devices.

The list is yet unofficial but it shows some hints towards early update on Motorola devices. Still many others are silent and may face some delays getting the new Android version. It is also sought to happen following Nexus devices which are almost confirmed for week ahead. We also have some reports about the LG Phones getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

The list includes a number of devices including most of the devices launched this year. But still many are set to miss the updates and no hint is out yet for them at all. According to the list of expecting devices include the various additions of Moto X and 3rd generation Moto G. The Three Moto X edition including the Moto X Pure, Moto X Style and Moto X Play.

There are some older Moto devices launched in 2014 also included in the list. It is mentioned on another page updated with Motorola device’s related reports. These older devices include the second generation Moto X Pure’s US version, Moto MAXX and Moto X. The second generation of Moto G and Moto G LTE is also included for updates. This is quite a long list to cover a good number of Moto users but still many have to wait.

As we mentioned above the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is also for US version of Moto X Pure. This however creates a little complication for US users of the device compared with the rest. The device comes in the US as unlocked therefore users must look the way forward with carriers for updates.
