After a long silent we witnessed a sudden sprang of interesting smartphones by Google owned Motorola. With these smartphone Google and Motorola features are successfully having their influence in the market competition of their relative ranges. Among these new smartphones there are the Moto X and the Droid Ultra. These smartphones have many interesting features in common. Apart from certain differences, the striking features of both smartphones make it hard to differentiate.

Here we have the Droid Ultra which is a 5-inch 720p model smartphone wrapped in Kevlar. It is the closest cousin to the Moto X with their basic similarities in the specs and price. It’s so matching that your might thing that why does Motorola made the two separately.

The screen of Droid Ultra is a 5-inch AMOLED panel. It is made large and colorful with AMOLED which displays more darks and saturated colors. This type of screen with deep darks is also good for battery life. This is also helpful with 5-inch screen which requires more battery power.

The Moto Droid Ultra offers onscreen button with its capacitive screen. Here Motorola have used the navigation keys below its display. On its front you can find the earpiece and the 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On its back you have the LED flash and lens joined by the speaker grille. You can also see the logos of Verizon, Motorola and Droid brands. Its back is also made up of textured plastic material. However, on its top you will not find many things but the 3.5mm headphone jack. The micro-USB port is there at the bottom.

With Verizon LTE the Droid Ultra radio supports bands 4 and 13 along with the usual frequencies. You will have the feature of global rooming on it, like quad-band HSPA+ and quad-band GSM / EDGE. Along with these mobile networks you also have Bluetooth 4.0, Near Field Communication (NFC), WiFi Direct and plenty of other services.
