Following some key devices in the smartphone market some odd glitches and bugs comes with almost each new device. This time we got some Nexus 5X units encountering a similar issue where some of its users reported an unresponsive touch screen while charging. This is though not the first issue reported with the Nexus 5X but a serious one indeed.
The reports started emerging on the Reddit where several Nexus 5X users came up discussing the same issue faced on their devices. According to details posted by one such users, the Nexus 5X touch screen was found unresponsive while set on charging viva original charger. But the user who seems to be from UK relates the issue with charging adapter as his device was reportedly okay after changing the charger.
Based on the preliminary assessments by the users the issue is mainly being linked with charging adapter and the cable that came out of box with the Nexus 5X. According to some, after changing the adapter the issue still prevailed when the included charging cable is used. Some also related the issue with the weak shield on the phone to cope with type of charger it carries.
However many reported their devices working perfectly with some minors issues with touch responsiveness. This is however quite obvious as it may be because of software issues. Apart from the Reddit there were also some issue discussed on a XDA thread. The thread was found asking users if the Nexus X5 faces any issue with scrolling and swipes. The user who has created the thread shows that he is unable to fix it in settings. Thus it seems to be the same issue being faced by the users which seems to be on global level. Like other key smartphone vendors we also expect some official explanations for the Google about Nexus 5X soon.
