Nokia Asha 230 Specifications
Nokia brings the Asha 230 with gorgeous colors, small shape and low-cost. The design of Asha 230 is little different from its predecessors. With its round corners and square shape it truly looks cute. Its attractively square body is also made comparably wide which feels comfortable in the hand. The colors of Nokia are also there to increases its beauty.
It is a good looking low-end phone that runs on Asha platform. Like many other Asha models, Asha 230 is also targeted to the developing markets. However, it also attracts the customers looking for low-end smartphones in developed markets like the US and the UK.
Looking on its features we can see the trade-off between its pricing and features. Its display is affected most by this trade-off. It is a 2.8-inch 320×240-pixel display which is very poor even in its low-rang. This shows unclear display with fuzzy icons. These lower screen features puts it in the category of feature phones, rather than a smartphone. Its software also doesn’t work well.
The camera is also kept very low in specs. The 1.3-megapixel camera captures low quality pictures. However they are good enough for sharing online. It also has the 64MB of RAM which show than it can easily run the low function of the Asha 230.
It has 4GB of internal storage with expandable microsSD option for up to 32GB expendable memory. With the limited functions of the Nokia Asha 230 the storage looks enough. It is supported by the many features of Microsoft. Especially you will have the oneDrove, integrated on the Asha 230. Along with other features it also supports dual SIM which is a good feature for a low-end handset.
The Nokia Asha 230 misses out many deal breaking features. It doesn’t support 3G connection and also there is no Wi-Fi option. Therefore you are still bound to work on low speed data connection. But also there are certain features which add value in Asha 230. It supports the most used social networking software where you can connect over EDGE/GPRS connection. These apps include WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter along with some others.
With the interesting design and colorful body the Nokia Asha 230 misses some good features but it is understandable. It is a low end model which is aimed to give you some basic features.
