Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM Specifications and Review

Nokia Asha 502 Dual SIM Specifications

Nokia, while competing with key players of the premium smartphone and high-end phablets has never forgotten its budget customers. Here we have one of these smartphone which represents the specialty of Nokia to create budget phones with its own standards.

For instance, with Nokia Asha 502 we have a good example of Nokia valuing the budget phones with impressive additions. Nokia has dutifully incorporated the premium features of smartphones in its budget phones to give them a glance of premium handsets. This also shows the hard struggle of Nokia to capture the Low-end market of smartphones.

Looking at its display you can observe it being smaller than the competitors in the same range. The screen of Nokia Asha 502 is 3-inch in size while many of the smartphone in the same range have a higher screen size. On Asha 502 you will have a multi-touch screen that features a QVGA resolution which is 320 x 240 pixels.

However, its color display not seems good enough as there are only 256,000 colors to display. This difference is evident in other competing smartphones which comes with standard 1.6 million colors.

Nokia Asha 502 runs on 1.1 version of Asha Operating System. This version loaded on Asha 502 is an update to the OS of its earlier model of Nokia Asha generation. On the OS you can use the simple swipe gestures for most of its actions while the back button is used to close apps.

It also has the Fastlane features like other Asha models. With these features you can quickly get to the apps without going through the main app page. It also includes the interesting feature of Glance screen.

Though it is a budget phone we can have a good experience with its camera. The 5MP fixed-focus rear camera of Nokia Asha 502 has an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. However, you will miss the front facing camera. Nokia Asha 502 also faces the challenge of low internal storage, though it has the option of expendable storage.

There is a 5GB microSD card bundled with the handset but you can expend it with a 32 GB microSD. Apart from these specs its battery is also impressive with 1010mAh which can run for two consecutive days.
