Nokia X + Specifications and Review

Nokia X Specifications

Nokia recently adopted the Open source Android OS on its X series in the place of Windows Phone. The models with this adaptation include Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL which were unveiled at the World Mobile Congress, this year. Among these three the Nokia X+ remains in the middle in both specs and the display. It comes with a little more RAM than Nokia X and with smaller screen size than the Nokia XL.

The Nokia X+ looks more identical to the Nokia X than the XL. It comes in a plastic finish with the traditional colorful outlook of Nokia smartphones. It is also boasted with a dual-SIM feature which is a value adding trend among the smartphone series. It loads the modified Android OS while the interesting interface of Nokia with live tiles is also well-kept.

The display of Nokia X+ is surprisingly nice. It is a 4-inch WVGA screen which displays an impressive result with its deep blacks and vibrant color. Its screen is equipped with the multi-touch feature which will give you an amazing feeling with its quick responsiveness.

The processer on Nokia X+ is a Dual-core 1GHz Cortex-A5 which is supported by 786MB of RAM. This sounds well with the range of the handset. In the everyday use this RAM and processing speed will not disappoint you. However you may face occasional delays and slowdown with heavy apps but it is an exception. As mentioned earlier, the Nokia X+ leads the Nokia X in RAM as the latter comes with just 512MB of RAM.

The camera of Nokia X+ is not a feature worth mentioning. Nokia has left the camera over its other features. It comes with a 3.15 MP primary camera with 2048 x 1536 pixels. Its tiny camera can still capture panorama shoots and also there is the face detection feature. You can capture 480p video at 30fps.

The Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery of Nokia X+ promised up to 408 hours of Stand-by. While the talk time is claimed up to 13 hours and 20 minutes over 2G connection and 10 hours, 30 minutes over 3G connections. You can also play music for up to 26 hours on this battery power.
