Pebble introduced its latest upcoming smartwatch design last month. The company also began its crowdfunding effort for the Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2 at the same time period. Neither of the wearables strayed too far from its predecessors. The upcoming Pebble smartwatches come with upgraded fast processor.
The next-generation smartwatches also feature stylish new looks and a larger screen. the heart monitoring hardware has also been upgraded by Pebble. All that is well and good, but the fans of Pebble’s circular screened Pebble Time Round were a bit disappointed since there is no next generation model in development. While the company isn’t ready to develop a second generation Pebble Time Round 2 there is a small piece of good news for the fans of the Time Round model.
Pebble has recently announced that the company will be launching a couple of new finish options. The company revealed that the Pebble Time Round 2 will now be available in stylish new shiny metallic polished gold and polished silver colors. The latest polished models of the Pebble Time Round are displayed in the image below.
As you may already know, the Pebble Time Round smartwatch has been available in both silver and rose gold colors for quite a while. The difference between these new silver and gold models is that these have an added extra shine to their looks. Furthermore, the new model features a classic yellow gold shade finish that is different from the previous rose gold which had a pinkish shade.
The latest polished silver and polished gold models of the Pebble Time Round will be available in 20mm-band versions of the smartwatch. Unfortunately, for now, there is no news on new color options for the 14 mm sized Pebble Time Round watches.
Currently, both polished models of the Time Round are only available on Kickstarter. The polished silver and gold are priced at $200. Pebble has announced that direct sales will begin soon. But, purchasing through crowdfunding will allow you to get you hands on the latest polished model at the earliest. Shipments are all set to begin sometime in the month of September.
