Android 6 Marshmallow updates were reported to arrive for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge a month back. Following the reports a number of other leaks also surfaced showing other Samsung devices waiting for Marshmallow. This was shown in a video of Galaxy Note 4 with Androids 6.0 Marshmallow. Here we have another news with pictures of running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge for the users looking forward for Marshmallow update.
With the rumors of Marshmallow on Galaxy Note 4 the beta test of new software was also reported for selected users in the UK. This now seems confirmed for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge as fresh photos show the beta version installed on both devices. Besides there are also a number of images that show both devices running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Though the refreshed Android Marshmallow feel is visible at the first sight but for many it may be much familiar. For those who have used Samsung’s high-end devices launched in 2015, the first look is quite unchanged. However in other pics there are some refined ‘feels’ that are no doubt part of the update.
With the matching first impression and other ‘feels’ the UI on both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge show some nice progress. The new UI seems sleeker with flatter looks and improved effects. With certain screens are open we can see the more transparency and blur effects visible on the screen.
Other new things that are mentioned include the new sorting options with a nice app search menu. With the update, both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will also get the full-on Pro mode of Galaxy Note 5 camera which is much elaborated as compared with Galaxy S6’s own Pro mode. With Note 5’s Pro mode Galaxy S6 devices will get shutter speed control and extended white balance slider as well.
