Early in January Samsung was reportedly planning to launch another high-end device besides the Galaxy S7, this was to be the Galaxy A9 Pro. The upgraded edition of the Galaxy A9 was reported to be a high-end device with a huge 6-inch display. In some fresh reports the same Galaxy A9 Pro is mentioned yet again, this time with a little extra details.
Following the January tips, there have been too little discussions about the Galaxy A9 Pro. The fresh hints are taken out of the device which appeared on the import data for India. According to the reports, the device on the import data with model number of SM-A9100 is none other than the Galaxy A9 Pro.
As the leak sources suggest, the Galaxy A9 Pro name doesn’t seem final yet. But the device on the list is the same which was earlier discussed with the same name. We may find the name changed later but in any such case the device will still remain an upgrade over the original Galaxy A9.
Considering the specs and features of the Galaxy A9, an upgraded version will be a really exciting device to expect. The original Galaxy A9 comes with a large 6-inch display panel with FHD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. As suggested in the earlier reports, the upgraded Galaxy A9 Pro will launch in same size but higher QHD resolution.
The fresh hints are also quite short in details about the Galaxy A9 Pro. Besides the model number, we can also spot the prices out of the import data. It shows a price tag equivalent to $360, but it will probably not be the same price when the device actually comes to the market.
Currently Samsung is preparing for its Unpacked event where Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are expected for launch. Besides these two, the Galaxy A9 Pro is quite unlikely to be announced at this time.
