The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the highly anticipated tablets. Rumours, renditions, and alleged teasers have already started appearing on the internet. There isn’t any concrete information about the device yet. But, thanks to an alleged teaser it appears that the tablet will have a design similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge. According to the teaser image, the latest iteration of the Galaxy Note series will be named Galaxy Note 7.
By naming the latest iteration Note 7 instead of Note 6, Samsung will be aligning its Note series with its flagship series. The tech giant fears that customers will assume that the latest Galaxy Note will contain last year’s technology if it was named Note 6. Additionally, the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus could also preserve that myth when they launch in three months.
The teaser image that was leaked comes with a quip that reads”write on the edge of something great.” According to speculation, this line hints that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature curved edges like the Galaxy S7 Edge but with the writing ability.
Rumors about the Note 7 having curved edges have been circling for quite some time. If this teaser is legit then this would confirm those rumors. The Galaxy Note 7 is also rumoured to feature curved edge on both back and front of the body. There is also speculation that the line might be a reference to some new features of the S-Pen.
According to rumours and speculation, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 823 SoC with a quad-core CPU, and the Adreno 530 GPU under the hood.
The Galaxy Note 7 will feature 6GB of RAM. The rear camera of the device will be same as the 12 MP rear camera found on the Galaxy S7. That camera comes with a f/1.7 aperture. Samsung‘s latest Galaxy Note iteration is expected to be unveiled next month. The phablet is speculated to be launched later after the unveiling.
