Samsung Galaxy Note II getting Lollipop flavor

These days Samsung users are fully aware that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 are going to have Android 5.0 Lollipop but they are still worried about the older devices. But now Samsung users don’t have to be worried because now Galaxy Note II will also be getting same Android Lollipop 5.0 flavor.

It must be thrilling news for Samsung users that Galaxy Note II is expected to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop. If we go through the list we will find that the Galaxy Note 4 as well as the Note 3, both of which were previously expected to receive Lollipop but now Galaxy Note 2 is expected to get Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Samsung Finland’s Android update page suggested us that the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 4 will all be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Sorry to say that the Samsung Finland’s Android update page did not give us any timeline of this update. At the moment we cannot expect the updates to show up.

This is very exciting news for Samsung users because they did not expected that the Note II might get Android 5.0 Lollipop. But obviously many people were expecting that the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4, and even the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 to get Android Lollipop.

This announcement from Samsung gives us an idea that it has a reward for those people who are still using older Galaxy Note devices. It shows us that Samsung cares about its dedicated and older customers.

Although earlier we have seen samples of Lollipop running on both the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy S4, but the real big news is that Samsung’s older Note II is set to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update
