Here we get another report confirming the both devices with a view into their exact dimensions. Though the accuracy of the report is yet to be ascertained but it gives a nice view into the dimensions of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Still there is much more info to come out before we judge the real Galaxy S7 devices.

Considering the details of the report we find the Galaxy S7 matching with the currently ruling Galaxy S6. The height and width of the Galaxy S7 are almost same as that of current-gen device. However the Galaxy S7 is reported with a larger 5.2inch display against 5.1inch of Galaxy S6. With same dimensions and larger screen the Galaxy S7 comes with about 73.94% screen-to-body ratio against 70.7% ratio on the Galaxy S6.

The details about the Galaxy S7 edge suggest 76.62% screen-to-body ration with its 5.5inch display and 151x73mm body. This makes 16:9 ratio for the Galaxy S7 edge which is quite identical to the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5. With matching dimensions the Galaxy S7 edge is expected to arrive with the same curved edge concept of current device.

The report claims that Samsung is also considering to introduce curved back with the Galaxy S7. The curved back is suggested for the Galaxy S7 while the Galaxy S7 Edge with curved display may arrive with a flat back. The concept is quite interesting which may gain acceptance in the market like the curved Edge display.
