The aspirant users of much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S7 devices may start saving up as the devices are expected to carry a high price tag. According to a fresh report published in Poland Samsung is mulling to hike the prices of its upcoming Galaxy S7 series.
The flagship devices of Galaxy S7 series are set to represent Samsung in competitive smartphone market in 2016. The Korean giant is also reported to follow its current device pattern while introducing the new Galaxy S7 series. The expected devices in the series include the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and also a Galaxy S7 Plus.
The hike in the prices of upcoming Galaxy S7 devices is expected due to various reasons. In the fresh report in Poland, the price hike is suggested mainly because of new iris scanner which the company has planned to employ into the entire series.
Though the hiked prices will surely raise concerns among users but the iris scanner with its usefulness will eventually increase the value of the devices. Thus leaving the price hike aside, with iris scanner you can unlock your Galaxy S7, verify your identity and do much more with just a gaze at the device.
We have recently spotted some snaps of new cases which were reportedly made for two of Samsung Galaxy S7 series devices, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus. One of the images showed a device in the case which was claimed to be the Galaxy S7. The alleged picture showed a rectangular home button on the device.
The Galaxy S7 devices are expected for unveiling on February 21 at the Samsung Unpacked Event for 2016. A day after the Samsung Unpacked event we also have the MWC scheduled in Barcelona. The timing seems good for Samsung to introduce the Galaxy S7 lineup to the busy market.
