Sony launches Xperia E4 just before Xperia Z4 release

While there are a lot of rumors about the upcoming flagship device of Sony in the year 2015 and it’s being said that Sony is going to launch Sony Xperia Z4 next month at MWC 2015 in Barcelona Spain. But Sony has released its new Xperia E4 device, an entry level phone with low prices. If you believe in ‘history repeats itself’  then you can say Sony will launch Sony Xperia Z4 soon as last year Sony also revealed Xperia E3, along with Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact.

Sony Xperia E4 Display

When looking at Sony Xperia E4, it has some major change in its design as compared to its predecessors. Xperia E4 has rounded edges with smaller bezels and curved lines. It has diamond-cut aluminum made power button and stainless steel camera ring.

With 5-inch IPS LCD display, Sony Xperia E4 has screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels which will certainly look good to your eyes. It has quad-core MT6582 chipset powered by MediaTek which clocks at 1.3 GHz. Again to notice it has no Snapdragon which raises questions if Xperia Z4 will get the Snapdragon 810 or not?

With 8 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot, Sony Xperia E4 is equipped with 1GB of RAM. It has dual camera, 5MP sensor at back and 2MP front camera for selfies. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat version and we don’t know if it will be upgradeable to Android Lollipop or not. There is no LTE support as well. Sony Xperia E4 has a powerful batter of 2300mAh as compared to other specs which can give you two days battery backup

Sony Xperia E4 Back
Sony is planning to launch Single-SIM and dual-SIM versions of Xperia E4 in late February for sale. But yet there are no details revealed about the pricings of the latest Xperia device.
