Sony likely to launch Xperia Z4 globally as Z3+

Sony Xperia lovers finally get closed to the new Xperia devices as the company announced its three launch events following one another. The Xperia Z4 launch events expect to include the new flagships along with Xperia C4, a selfie friendly device and Xperia Z4 tablet.

Sony is preparing for its three events to be held in Taiwan, Hong Kong and India on May 26, 27 and 28 respectively. According to the reports emerging in the local media the events scheduled in Taiwan and Hong Kong are confirmed to unveil the new Xperia flagship of Sony. But unlike events in both locations another event scheduled in India, which will also be held first on may 26, is not confirmed to introduce the flagship.

Considering the same local reports, Sony is planning to introduce the global version of the earlier lunched Xperia Z4. The Xperia Z4 was showcased last month in Japan. It was also a Japan only version while the company promised along with its launch that it will introduce the global version till the End of May. This is quite according to the leads, we will indeed be able to see a promised global version of the Xperia Z4 during the events this week.

Although it will be the global variant of the Japan only Xperia Z4 but it is not confirmed yet if it will be identical to the Japan only version. There are also leads suggesting the global Xperia Z4 to be called as Xperia Z3+. The Z4 device is also identical to the Xperia Z3 which also supports the claims of its name as Xperia Z3+. The Xperia Z4 adopted the Xperia Z3 with some upgraded specs and a thinner body.

Recent reports also suggested that the Verizon is set to bring the Sony Xperia Z4, Japan only version along with the global version, to the US market. This will also open ways for the Xperia Z4 to the other markets.
