Supply-chain report claims10M sales for The Apple Watch

Apple expectations are more than fulfilling for its new Watch due to the increasing sales. A recent report shows a similar case. As per it, Apple is sought to ship about 10 million Watch units by the end of this year. The report appeared in Digitimes. It shows that Apple is seeking new suppliers to take the sales up to the mark.

According to details; Apple has set out four million Apple Watch orders for the last quarter of this year. However, this move is mainly focused on the holidays shopping events where Apple is expected to do the best. But besides the company’s arrangement, the sale numbers are otherwise also inclined  to hit the 10 million mark.

There are number of similar reports which further suggest that to to meet an extended supply Apple is seeking another manufacturer. Currently the company is relying on the Quanta Computers which stands to be the sole manufacturer of the Watches. But now Apple is partnering with second suppliers for the Watch. As per the report Apple has already approached the Inventec, Foxconn Electronics and also the Wistron in this regard.

However the commitment to the Quanta computer is lasting because the duo is rumored to discuss the production of the Apple Watch 2.  Quanta claims that Apple is going to ship second generation Apple Watch after mid-2016.

Following the successful journey of the first Watch in the wearable market; Apple has got good strategic bases for the next gen-Watch.

There are many new features that were missing on the predecessor. Recent rumors about the upcoming Watch suggested FaceTime camera, Wi-Fi and other features. We have to wait till the release to know more!
