The competition is high between Samsung and Apple in the smartphone market worldwide and also in the US market. It is generally thought that Apple leads this war of market with the hype it has created with its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. But these perceptions are proved wrong by the latest customers satisfaction survey.
In a recent customer satisfaction survey conducted in the US smartphone market Apple seems out from the top position. And you can judge, it is not other than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which comes out to be the top device to satisfy the US customers.
The Customer Satisfaction survey by the ACSI was conducted on population of 70K customers in the US smartphone market. The survey reports, which marked devices as per the votes they scored from 0 to 100 range. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 scored the highest 86 points on the scale and comes to be the most satisfying smartphone for the US smartphone users. Interestingly top position in the survey is followed by two other Galaxy devices, the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S5 along with Apples iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, all with equal 82 points.
The results also show the leaning interest of the US smartphone users toward large screen phablets. For instance, among the devices capturing the top position, three are phablets. All of three comes with a larger screen size.
Though Samsung has crossed Apple in the competition for devices, but for the category of smartphone makers both are at tie with 80 points. Other manufacturers closed to the two giants are Motorola, BlackBerry and the HTC.
The survey shows that US customers are not as much concerned with the battery timing of their devices as they are with some other services. The survey pointed out that the customers are most satisfied with better text messaging phones then with large screens and voice calls.
