Samsung has almost confirmed the arrival of its next Galaxy devices on February 21 before the MWC 2016. But what Samsung is going to unveil on the day is not official yet. Therefore, the talks go on sketching up the upcoming Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge. This time we got reports suggesting Waterproof component on both Galaxy S7 models.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are highly expected to be the next Galaxy devices, succeeding last year’s Galaxy S6 series. Both of the devices for this year are expected to introduce some new features besides the upgrade over their preceding Galaxy S6 devices.
In a recent report, the upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge were found with certain waterproof components, reinforcing the earlier claims. In earlier reports both of the upcoming Galaxy devices were reported to revive some key features of the Galaxy S5 which were dropped out in the Galaxy S6 devices.
The recent hints about the waterproof Galaxy S7 lineup surfaced on the import-export tracking website, the Zauba. The database on the website shows waterproof SIM tray and microphone for devices with model number SM-G930 and SM-G935. As we have witnessed in earlier reports, the devices with these model number are none other than the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge.
Prior to the reports about the water resistant components the same website also revealed the screen size of the upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. As per the revealed details both devices will arrive with Super AMOLED display of 5.1 inch and 5.5 inch panel respectively.
With these details we also know that the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will carry the Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chipset, depending on the market they are going to display. The scheduled launch is still two weeks away, meanwhile we may get some more details about the next Galaxy.
